Patch Picks: Best Places in Woodinville to Watch the Super Bowl

Here’s our first picks:
Chicken wings, pizza, chips, dips, six-foot-long sandwiches: that’s right friends, its Super Bowl Sunday. Don’t feel like staying at home to watch the game? Not to worry, there are lots of businesses in town with big screen TVs, and specials deals at the ready for the big game. Remember, kick-off is at 3:30 p.m.

Alexandria Nicole Cellars, 14810 Northeast 145th St., that’s right, real wine drinkers watch the Super Bowl. The party starts at 3 p.m. and includes a glass of wine and small cheese plate. Tickets are $20. Check the website for more information.
, 13420 NE 177th Pl, special beer and food deals, plus a large drop-down screen so you can be up close and personal with the players. During the game, chicken or pork sliders are $1, chicken wings are 50 cents, and a pitcher of beer (limited brands) is $8.

Rooney’s, 17626 140th Avenue NE, just opened their doors in October of last year and already it’s gotten a reputation for one of the best places to watch football. In celebration of the Super Bowl a barbecue is scheduled for Sunday with pulled pork and ribs. There will also be Jello shots for $1, tall boys for $3, and Rolling Rocks for two bucks. The place has 11 big screen TVs strategically placed for good viewing in any corner of Rooney’s.
, 12461 NE Woodinville Dr., is a perennial favorite watering hole here in Woodinville. t, “the shoe” as it’s known in these parts, has plenty of wide screen TVs for game viewing.
