Public Sculpture on City Council Agenda
The late Malka Fricks bequeathed a piece of artwork to the city, which is looking at possible themes for the sculpture.

The Woodinville City Council will consider Tuesday whether to weigh in on a public sculpture to be installed as part of a bequest from the late Malka Fricks.
The suggested pieces by Shelley Curtiss of Joseph, OR, are mainly sculptures of animals, including a deer, fox, mountain lion, wolf and basset hound, as well as a sculpture of an Asian figure in traditional clothing. (Click here for the agenda item with photos of the pieces.)
Fricks, a member of Woodinvilleβs original Public Arts Advisory Committee, died in January of lung cancer. Fricks also served on the city's Parks and Recreation Commission.
