Metropolitan King County Councilmember Rod Dembowski took the Oath of Office from King County Superior Court Judge Sean O'Donnell Monday, March 4.

O’Donnell, a classmate of Dembowski at Georgetown University, gave the Oath of Office to the Councilmember at his ceremonial swearing-in at the start of the County Council’s meeting.
Dembowski was appointed to the Council Council on Feb. 11, filling the vacancy in County Council District 1.
