WOODINVILLE, WA - Snohomish County deputies were involved in a shooting with a suspect near Woodinville High School early Wednesday morning. The incident was causing long delays near SR 522 and SR 9 due to the police investigation.

According to state patrol, deputies responded to a disturbance north of Martha Lake along Meadow Road. That evolved into a chase that ended near SR 522 and Northeast 195th Street. A deputy rammed the suspect's car, sending it into a ditch, according to scanner audio.

Then, a deputy can be heard on scanner audio say, "He's trying to drive, we're out in the open," and then, "Shots fired, shots fired." You can listen to the full audio in the video above.
