Crash On. U.S. 2: Jeep Hits Truck Hauling Human Waste Near Index
The rollover crash along U.S. 2 east of Index was slowing traffic in the area.

INDEX, WA - A jeep collided with a truck hauling human waste along U.S. 2 Wednesday morning. The accident happened east of Index, and the cleanup was causing clogs in that area.
Washington State Patrol spokesman Sgt. Mark Francis reported that there were no injuries reported - at least not any olfactory ones.
The crash happened along a curved stretch of U.S. 2, and the truck hauling waste appeared to have partially rolled over. As of noon on Wednesday, traffic was almost at a standstill just after Bridal Veil Falls trailhead.
