Today's Fireworks Shows, Festivities in and Around Woodinville
Looking for someplace to show your red, white and blue spirit? Here's Woodinville Patch's guide to events around Puget Sound.

Woodinville will be kicking off its summer concert series with the Fourth of July concert at . The concert is the entertainment portion of the Northshore all day Fourth of July celebration events shared with Kenmore and Bothell. Spectators are encouraged to bring a blanket and picnic to the free concert.
The rock, blues, country and soul mix On the Level will start off the show at 1 p.m. Β Up next will be the Kim Archer Band, with old school soul, funk and classic rock blended with sultry blues. The funk, hip-hop, nu-jazz group Global Heat will close the show.

The July Fourth concert is part of the regular Fourth of July festivities put on by Woodinville, Bothell and Kenmore. A reminder: fireworks are not permitted in Woodinville city limits.

City of Bothell Freedom Festival
β’City of Bothell Fire and E.M.S. Pancake Breakfast, 8:30-10:30 a.m., at the Downtown Firehouse, 10726 Beardslee Blvd., Bothell
β’Children's Parade, 11:15 p.m. Line up at 104th Avenue Northeast and Main Street. Parade route proceeds west on Main Street and then north on Bothell-Everett Highway to Northeast 188th Street. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the parade route. No supervision is provided.
β’Grand Parade, 12 p.m. Parade route proceeds west on Main Street and then north on Bothell-Everett Highway to Northeast 188th Street. Event sponsors are Pacific Medical Center, University of Washington, Bothell and Bothell Pediatric and Hand Clinic.
β’Concert at Wilmot Gateway Park, 17301 131st Ave. N.E.
β’Fireworks, 10 p.m., at Log Boom Park, Northeast 175th Street and 61st Avenue Northeast. Spectators are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair.
Parking will be available at Log Boom Park, Kenmore Lake Building (6161 N.E. 175th St.), Bethany Bible Church (6214 N.E. Bothell Way) and Uplake Professional Center (5723 N.E. Bothell Way). Limited disabled parking will be available at Log Boom Park; first come, first serve.
BELLEVUE
The Symetra Bellevue Family 4th celebration will begin at 2 p.m. at Bellevue Downtown Park, and continue until 10:30 p.m., ending with the fireworks display that begins at 10:05. After 6 p.m. there is free event parking in Bellevue Square, an easy walk from the park. The lowdown on events can be found at Bellevue Downtownβs website.
Thereβs also a rare opportunity to visit the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall, on display July 1β4 at the Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue.Β
EDMONDS
An Edmonds Kind of 4th
Put on by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce and Hazel Miller Foundation. The day's events include a 5K Run at 10 a.m., a Children's Parade at 11:30 a.m., the Main Parade at noon, the Edmonds Fire Department Waterball Competition at City Park at 2:30 p.m., evening entertainment at the Civic Playfield (6th and Bell) at 7:30 p.m., and a fireworks display at 10 p.m. at Civic Playfield. GIG HARBOR
Destiny Harbor Tours: 4th of July (Gig Harbor)
Departing from Gig Harbor, there are two sea tours available. During the day, the cruise takes you right into the action of Tacoma's Freedom Fair air show. KIRKLAND
Kirklandβs big summertime bash on the Fourth of July is based at Marina Park. Activities include a kids parade (11:30 a.m.), the 12th annual old-fashioned patriotic parade (noon), the Rotary Club of Kirklandβs βDuck Dash,β (3 p.m.) and the spectacular fireworks show (10:15 p.m.). The city expects some 10,000 people to enjoy the celebration and plans to be prepared. Get more information here.

Lake Boren Townhomes sponsors a public fireworks display with festivities beginning at 6 p.m. at Lake Boren Park. Get more information here.
RENTON
At Rentonβs Fabulous Fourth of July and Fireworks, enjoy free children's activities and face-painting from noon to 8 p.m., (sponsored by Coal Creek Family YMCA & Matt Griffin YMCA), stage entertainment from 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. (sponsored by Sanctuary & The Reserve Apartments), and a professional fireworks display from a barge on Lake Washington at 10 p.m. Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, 1201 Lake Washington Blvd. N. Fireworks show starts at 10 p.m. and is part of the evening-long 4th On the Plateau holiday celebration at . The event also will feature food, kids play areas and live music. The event is free, with parking available at , and for $5.
SEATTLE
Family Fourth at Lake Union

Steilacoom 4th of July
The Steilacoom Chamber of Commerce once again opens Lafayette Street to the public for the daylong July 4th Celebration. The event will feature a street fair, beer garden, Steilacoom Tribal Museum and a fireworks show over Puget Sound that starts at 10 p.m. Get more information here.

Freedom Fair
Three days of events, July 1-4, at various locations. On July 4, activities are held all day along the Ruston Waterfront and inlcude airshows, food, vendors, exhibits, rides and events. The fireworks show begins at 10:10 p.m. Get more information here.

For those who wish to see fireworks in Redmond, Derby Days offers its annual display on Saturday, July 9, at 10 p.m. at Redmond City Hall campus, 15670 N.E. 85th Street.
