Windermere to Hold Recycling Event Sept. 15

, in partnership with 1 Green Planet, will host a free recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at their offices.

Items that can be dropped off for recycling include computers and parts, printers, fax machines, phones, record players, speakers, radios, video game systems, TVs of all sizes, VCRs, Christmas tree lights, appliances of any size, car batteries, computer batteries, medical equipment and ink toner & cartridges.

Items that they can not accept include wood, glass (e.g., no fluorescent bulbs), rubber (e.g., tires), porcelain (e.g. toilets), fabric (e.g., mattresses) or paint.

Cash or food donations for the YMCA can also be made on site.
