Woodinville Civic Campus Construction Begins: What To Expect

Developers and city officials signed an agreement this week to transform the block that includes the Woodniville Schoolhouse.

WOODINVILLE, WA — The ink of the development agreement is barely dry, buy work on the Woodinville Civic Campus project will get underway as soon as May 13, according to city officials.

What can you expect? There will be some parking and sidewalk impacts, but the initial phase of construction shouldn't interfere too much with your commute.

Beginning Monday, there will be fencing up around the construction zone at the corner of 133rd Avenue Northeast and Northeast 175th Street and north of City Hall. The northern parking lot for the sports fields will be fenced off, and parking will not be available between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.

The sidewalk along 133rd will also be closed beginning Monday. The construction access will be through the southern end of the sports fields and along 131st Avenue Northeast. The parking lot at the south end of the fields will remain open.

An official groundbreaking ceremony will likely be held in June or July. Here's a map of what you'll see coming up starting Monday:
