Woodinville, Northshore Have Wellington Property Agreement
The agreement has not been formally approved yet, but it would allow public access until Northshore builds on the site.

WOODINVILLE, WA - City officials and the Northshore School District have a tentative agreement over the Wellington Hills property south of Brightwater.
The agreement was discussed at Tuesday's City Council meeting. One major piece of the agreement includes allowing "passive" public use, at least until the district eventually develops the land. Passive activities include walking, jogging, and picnicking. Northshore would also have to establish a "conservation area" around the site, which can't be developed.
Northshore bought the 22-acre parcel from Snohomish County in 2016 for $11.2 million intending to build school facilities there. The district envisions a facility with capacity for up to 1,200 students.
