Woodinville Village Development May Be Sold: Report

WOODINVILLE, WA - The owner of a 24-acre development planned near Chateau Ste. Michelle may sell the property, according to reports.

The Woodinville Weekly is reporting that Woodinville Village's owner, Legacy Commercial LLC, is in talks with several potential buyers. The development was originally proposed in 2005, and was supposed to include residential units, a hotel, and retail.

The City Council let the development agreement expire last year after years of delays and lawsuits. The city sued the former owners of the property after they failed to build several rotary intersections near the development. The 2007-2008 housing crash also set the development back.
