Authorities say Marcus Simms was arrested Sunday and charged with DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

MORGANTOWN, WV — The West Virginia Mountaineers' will be without one of their wide receivers for their opening game next month against Virginia Tech.

Wide receiver Marcus Simms was suspended for the season opener following his DUI arrest. West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen announced the suspension Monday night.

Holgorsen said in a statement that Simms also must complete specific requirements before he can be reinstated, though the statement did not detail those conditions.
