Man Dies When Car Collides With Train: Report
An 87-year-old man from Owen has died after his vehicle was struck a Canadian National freight train, authorities say.

CLARK COUNTY, WI -- An 87-year-old Wisconsin man has died after authorities say the vehicle he was driving collided with a train in rural Wisconsin early Saturday.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol in Eau Claire County, the driver of a 2002 Chrysler Concorde was attempting to cross the Canadian National rail line at Berglin Ave. just before 10 a.m. in Clark County.
Authorities say as the driver an 87-year-old man from Owen has died after his vehicle was struck a Canadian National freight train.

Authorities say the train crew was uninjured in the crash. The 87-year-old man's identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.
Assisting agencies included Owen Withee Ambulance, Clark County Sheriff’s Department, and Marshfield Fire and Rescue.
