'Saved by the Bell' Star Dustin Diamond Dead At 44
Diamond, best known for his role as Screech on the '90s sitcom, died three weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.

PORT WASHINGTON,WI— "Saved By The Bell" star Dustin Diamond, 44, a former resident of Wisconsin, has died three weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. USA TODAY and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the news on Monday.
"We are saddened to confirm of Dustin Diamond’s passing on Monday, February 1st, 2021 due to carcinoma," Diamond's publicist Roger Paul confirmed to USA TODAY.
"He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago. In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain. For that, we are grateful," Paul said in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report.
