Shailene Woodley Confirms Engagement To Packers QB Aaron Rodgers
The actress broke the news of her engagement during an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon."

GREEN BAY, WI — Actress Shailene Woodley publicly announced that she is engaged to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Monday during an interview on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
She said the furor over her engagement to Rodgers was “kind of funny” as the news wasn’t new for the couple, who “got engaged a while ago.” Woodley told Fallon when the two met she knew who Rodgers was but had never been to or seen a football game before.
“When we met I knew he was a football guy but I didn’t know what kind of a football guy he was,” the 29-year-old said. “I’m still constantly learning.”

Speculation started in early February over who Rodgers, 37, was engaged to after the player casually mentioned the news during an acceptance speech for the NFL’s MVP award.
“[Last year] was definitely a crazy year filled with a lot of change and growth, some amazing memorable moments,” he said. “180 straight days of my nose hairs scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands for the entire season, I got engaged and I played some of the very best football of my career.”
Despite having never seen Rodgers play a game, Woodley said that’s not who she knows him as in her life.
“I don’t know him as the football guy, I know him as the nerd that wants to host ‘Jeopardy!,’” she said. “That’s the dude I know, he just happens to be very good at sports.”
Rodgers is scheduled to start a two-week stint of guest-hosting “Jeopardy!” in April.
