Biden won Wisconsin by just over 20,000 votes, and his win was reaffirmed following a recount the Trump campaign requested in Milwaukee and Dane counties — both heavily Democratic counties. Trump and his allies have filed several lawsuits challenging the results in Wisconsin and nearly all of them have been thrown out. One case being heard by the Wisconsin Supreme Court also ended in a judgement against Trump Monday.
President Donald Trump's latest loss occurred Saturday in a federal lawsuit. U.S. District Judge Brett Ludwig, a Trump appointee, dismissed Trump's federal lawsuit asking the court to order the Republican-controlled Legislature to name Trump the winner over Biden. The judge said Trump's arguments "fail as a matter of law and fact."
The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Monday rejected President Donald Trump's lawsuit attempting to overturn his loss to Democrat Joe Biden in the battleground state, ending Trump's legal challenges in state court about an hour before the Electoral College was to meet to cast the state's 10 votes for Biden.
