CITY OF APPLETON PRESENTS HOUDINI WELCOME TOWER PHOTO CONTEST
Theme: Images of Hope

APPLETON, Wis., Nov. 23, 2020 – The City of Appleton presents the Houdini Welcome Tower Photo Contest.

The contest is open to all Appleton residents regardless of age and skill level. This year’s theme is “Images of Hope.” Photographs should be taken in or around Appleton and represent hope during these uncertain times. Submissions are due no later than December 18.

The Appleton Public Arts Committee will select 12 winning photographs to be displayed in the Houdini Plaza Welcome Tower for a minimum of six months. The Common Council will confirm the Committee’s selections.

The photographers of each winning image will receive $100 in prize money from the City. Appleton Downtown Inc. will also provide a $25 downtown Appleton gift card to each winner. A contestant can submit up to three photographs that are each qualified for being selected.
