City Of Appleton Releases CAPER Report For Public Review
The report discusses Community Development Block Grant activities undertaken by the city during the 2020 Program Year.

The City of Appleton has prepared its 2020 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The CAPER discusses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) activities undertaken by the City of Appleton during the 2020 Program Year.

The CAPER will be available starting May 3, 2021, and the general public has until June 3, 2021, to offer comments on the proposed submission. Written comments may be submitted via email to: nikki.gerhard@appleton.org or via U.S. Mail to: City of Appleton - Community and Economic Development Department, 100 N. Appleton Street, Appleton, WI 54911.
In addition, public comments on the CAPER can be offered at a public hearing that will be held at a regularly scheduled Community and Economic Development Committee meeting on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in Council Chambers on the 6th floor of Appleton City Hall, 100 N. Appleton Street, Appleton, WI.

The City shall consider all public input received before preparing its final submission, in addition to providing HUD with a summary of such comments as they relate to the 2020 CAPER. Interested parties can click on 2020 Draft CAPER for Public Comment to view it, or it is also available at the following location: City of Appleton Customer Service area on the 1st Floor of City Hall.
