Meijer Announces Opening Date for Grand Chute Supercenter
Retailer confirms May 17 will be first day of business for 10th Wisconsin store

Meijer confirmed May 17 is the opening date for a new 195,000 square-foot supercenter in Grand Chute, Wis., Regional Vice President Gerald Melville announced today.
Melville said company leadership and local dignitaries will dedicate the store’s first day of business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Appleton-area supercenter is the 10th store the retailer has opened in the state since 2015, and one of six new supercenters opening in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan this year.
“Since opening our first Wisconsin stores in Milwaukee, local residents and new customers have welcomed us with open arms and responded positively to the fresh grocery and new shopping options we offer,” Melville said. “We’re proud to bring another store to Northern Wisconsin and look forward to opening day with our new neighbors in Grand Chute and Appleton.”

There are still select team member openings for the Grand Chute store. The hourly positions will be part- and full-time across a wide array of skill sets, but ideal candidates will possess a desire to develop as part of the Meijer team and provide exceptional customer service.
