RACINE -- Everyone is welcome to enjoy a lazy summer afternoon on the Root River in a beautiful, wooded setting at the River Bend Nature Center, 3600 N. Green Bay Road, Caledonia.
The 2016 Root River Festival includes an interfaith worship service, storytelling, traditional (and new original) folk music, historical and environmental education, nature activities, canoeing and local food and beer. Milwaukee-based musican Lil' Rev is the headliner.
Free. Canoes and kayaks for rent. Donations welcome.
