Racine Woman Accused Of Assaulting, Stabbing Boyfriend
Megin Jorgensen is charged with one felony count and two misdemeanor counts in the incident.

RACINE, WI — A Racine woman was arrested Friday after her boyfriend reported that he had been assaulted and stabbed during a verbal argument in the 1000 block of Washington Avenue, according to a police report.
An officer who responded found Megin L. Jorgensen, 32, at the door with blood on her hands and wrists, the report said. A pat-down of the suspect revealed a folding knife with dried blood on the handle and blade, police said.
According to reports, officers made contact with the victim, who had been hiding in the bathroom until police arrived. He had cuts and scratches to his neck, face, and back, blood on his face, back, and jeans, and a stab wound on his left hip, the report said.

The victim reportedly told police that the two had gotten into argument and Jorgensen had slapped him three times. When he attempted to leave, he was hit in side, where police found the stab wound, and fell to the floor in the kitchen, according to the report He then retreated to the bathroom.
Jorgensen was charged with three counts: disorderly conduct domestic abuse, a Class B misdemeanor; misdeanor battery domestic abuse; and second degree recklessly endangering safety, a Class G felony. All counts also held "use of a dangerous weapon" designations for Jorgensen's use of a knife.
