RUSD Leader Selected for National Women Leaders Program
Rosalie Daca, Racine Unified School District's Chief Academic Officer, was one of only 20 selected from school districts across the US.

RACINE -- Rosalie Daca, Racine Unified School District's Chief Academic Officer has been selected to participate in the first ever Aspiring Women Leaders Program hosted by the AASA, the School Superintendents Association.
Daca was chosen as one of only 20 attendees after a nationwide candidate search conducted by AASA from school districts across the country.
Daca has been selected to participate in the AASA Women In School Leadership initiative called More Than a Power Lunch: Building Networks to Support and Advance Women in School Leadership.

The initiative was launched to help ease the impact of social barriers women face in ascending to the top leadership positions within school systems and to significantly increase the number of women seeking and becoming CEOs and superintendents of schools.
The 20 chosen women have exhibited professional excellence and a commitment to their work in the education field. They hold a variety of different positions within the school system.
