Just over a year ago Kasey Christensen was on leave from the Navy when the unthinkable happened and he became paralyzed after a snorkeling accident.
Christensen broke his neck and is paralyzed from the chest down. He's been hospitalized ever since the accident at the Milwaukee VA Hospital. Now his friends and family are trying to raise money to pay for the improvements needed to make his parents house wheel chair accessible so that he can come home.
Kasey's sister Shari Christensen worked at Clark Richard Salon, 18305 West Lisbon Road, until recently. The salon is accepting donations for Kasey and they have donated some raffle items.
