Mom Identifies Man Accused of Stealing 250 Feet of Wire from Menards

One shopper's five-finger discount from Menard's has police searching for the man. And they have lots of photos of the suspect.

BURLINGTON, WI — As the company slogan goes, "you save big money when you shop Menards." But one shopper's five-finger discount had police searching for the man for an apparent retail theft.

Update: The City of Burlington Police Department received information regarding the suspect vehicle. The truck was found parked in the driveway of the owners residence in East Troy. The suspect in the Retail Theft was identified by his mother. Thank you to the party that supplied the information regarding the vehicle and it's location.

According to police, an unidentified white male between 20-30 years old, with possible facial hair, entered Menards, walked to electrical department and obtained two 250-foot rolls of 10-3 electrical wire.

Police say the suspect was wearing a fluorescent yellow "Under Armour" hooded sweatshirt, dark colored boomer hat, dark pants.

The suspect was driving a regular cab Dodge Ram (possibly 1993 to 2001) pick up truck, two tone (gray/silver or light blue /silver) with passenger and driver door damage and left rear damage to the truck box.
