Vandalized Vehicle Wave Hits Caledonia
Caledonia Police are responding to a wave of vandalized vehicle reports that have surfaced over the last week.
CALEDONIA, WI — Caledonia Police are responding to a wave of vandalized vehicle reports that have surfaced over the last week, with 11 such crimes happening over the weekend.
According to police in Caledonia, many vehicles have had tires punctured and words or phallic images scratched onto the exterior paint. If vehicles were unsecured, the suspects went through the vehicles and stole items. Police also said suspects cut seats inside the vehicles and wrote on the interior with a marker.
According to authorities, the incidents began on Oct. 29 and have escalated, with 11 separate crimes committed Friday night and Saturday morning.

The Caledonia Police Department would like to warn residents to pay attention to
unknown individuals in their neighborhood and to report any suspicious activity or people. Residents are also urged to make sure they lock their vehicles and to not leave valuables inside their vehicles, or keep vehicles inside garages.
