Who is Most Responsible for the Time Warner Cable/WTMJ Dispute?
The station has been off the air for Time Warner subscribers for two weeks, and Time Warner has taken the step in other parts of the country as well.

So the disappearance of Today’s TMJ4 from Time Warner Cable’s lineup — now an absence of two weeks — could be either side’s fault.
The cable giant and TMJ parent Journal Communications do not agree on now much money Time Warner should pay for the rights to carry the company’s five stations in their lineups. Three local people have since filed a class action suit against Time Warner.

According to an article in JSOnline.com — owned by Journal Communications — Time Warner claims the increase Journal is seeking is 200 percent. Journal Communications characterizes it as pennies per customer.
TWC has also pulled CBS stations from major markets such as New York, and the New York Daily News reports agreements will expire without renewals for about 50 other channels, including Lifetime, E! and the NHL Network.
