$400 Million Powerball Drawing is Wednesday

Wednesday’s Powerball drawing will be for a total prize of at least $400 million. The one-time payout is at least $230 million. For some North Shore perspective, that cash payout would allow you to:

• Buy every home for sale in Fox Point at the listing price, according to Zillow ($24,411,850)
• Use the remaining money to pay one year of undergraduate tuition at Cardinal Stritch for 8,289 people.

According to WISN 12 News, heavy rain is expected Monday — more than an inch in spots. The rest of the week looks quite a bit better.

• National Night Out events — initiatives to promote safety — begin this week around the area. Shorewood’s is at 4:30 p.m. Thursday and features a visit from the Glendale Police K-9.
• The Red Dixies perform Music in the Glen at Bayshore Town Center at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
