Bayshore Gets New Owner, Property Manager; Developments Planned

Bayshore Town Center's new property manager has hinted at new development plans for Bayshore.

GLENDALE, WI — A new owner and a new property manager could spell changes for Glendale's Bayshore Town Center.

AIG Global Real Estate Services announced they took ownership of Bayshore from Olshan Properties this month. Cypress Equities Managed Services will provide property management and project leasing to Bayshore Town Center, a 52-acre complex under new ownership.

“Together with Bayshore’s new owner, we recognize the need to create a destination that tenants, consumers, and the local community can be proud of,” stated Chris Maguire, chief executive officer for Cypress. “Our team is looking forward to bringing our fresh perspective, track record of success and capital support to enhance Bayshore Town Center, and we are excited to add this to our portfolio of first-class properties.”

According to a Journal Sentinel article this week, Cypress has hinted at new development plans for Bayshore, which will be announced in 2018. Those plans will require city approval.

When Patch.com reached out to Cypress about what changes might be in store for the North Shore development, officials said it is too early to say what exactly that "fresh perspective" means.

"As this transition has just occurred, it is premature to expound on any potential changes that would be immediately obvious to the property’s patrons," Cypress told Patch this week.

Bayshore Town Center is a 1.3-million-square-foot open-air, mixed-use development that features an array of upscale retail shops, restaurants, entertainment destinations, professional office suites and luxury residential units. Key merchants include Boston Store, Kohl’s, Apple, Brooks Brothers, H&M, Old Navy, J. Crew, Vera Bradley, iPic Theaters, The Cheesecake Factory, Buffalo Wild Wings and Trader Joe’s.

Cypress is nationally acclaimed for best-in-class development, operation and management of a diverse range of properties, with particular expertise in mixed-use developments similar to Bayshore Town Center. Their responsibilities include construction management, consumer marketing initiatives, and tenant relations. An on-site team selected and managed by Cypress will execute the day-to-day operations of the retail, office and residential elements of the complex.
