Bayshore Town Center Has Weekend Of Fun Activities Coming Up

GLENDALE, WI — The Bayshore Town Center is brimming with activity this weekend to counteract any negative feelings Milwaukee-area residents may be encountering because of continual snowstorms, ice and general winter dreariness.

Here's a list of what's happening:

Davey Rocker’s Barnyard Jam
Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in the Rotunda
This fun-filled puppet show features Davey Rocker, Pipkin Pig and a colorful cast of characters. The free 30-minute show is packed full of songs and silly skits, along with an uplifting story from the book Morton the Caterpillar.

Storytime and Activities featuring I am Martin Luther King, Jr.
Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at Barnes & Noble
Join Barnes & Noble for its biography kids' book series as the group reads about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., an inspiring leader who had a dream of peace and love for all children everywhere. Plus, guests will receive a coupon from the Barnes & Noble Café for a grilled cheese sandwich with milk or juice for $4.

Washi Tape Card Making Workshop
Saturday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Paper Source
Guests will learn new and interesting ways to incorporate decorative washi tape into their do-it-yourself activities! Participants will make four cards using different washi techniques and treatments, then take away a new stationery set in a sweet correspondence folio. In this class, guests will stamp and emboss, line envelopes, use washi, upcycle, make a banner and more. LEGO Make & Take Event
Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at Barnes & Noble
