Batchelor told police he was coming from a friend’s house and had been drinking, according to the criminal complaint. Police say Batchelor had a large case of beer on the passenger seat.
Based upon on-scene sobriety tests, police determined Batchelor was intoxicated. Police did not perform a Breathalyzer on-scene, according to the court documents.
Batchelor has been convicted of drunken driving three times in the past including in 2003, 2004 and 2009.
Batchelor is due in court July 5 for a preliminary hearing, according to online court documents.Â
