The film "A Walk in the Woods" will be shown at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, in the Glendale Senior Citizens' Clubroom on the lower level of Glen Hills Middle School, 2600 W. Mill Road, Glendale. The movie is based on the 1998 memoir by travel writer Bill Bryson, who, after retirement, decides to hike the Appalachian Trail with an old, sometimes difficult friend. Robert Redford and Nick Nolte star, supported by Emma Thompson, Nick Offerman, Kristen Schaal, and Mary Steenburgen. Nonmembers are always welcome at club events. C
