Glendale Tip Jar Thief Turns Herself In
A woman who stole money from a Glendale pizza place tip jar for Alzheimer's research turned herself in late Sunday.
GLENDALE, WI — A woman caught on video surveillance footage stealing money from a donation jar that raises money for Alzheimer's research has been located and arrested - thanks to a timely tip after the notice was posted online.
On Thursday, June 22, Jet's Pizza in Glendale reported that a customer entered the restaurant at 12:30 p.m. only to steal money from the donation jar. Glendale police obtained surveillance footage and posted it online in hopes of finding her.
According to police, the woman turned herself in Sunday night, and returned all of the money she had taken.
