Glendale's Manger Completes USAF Basic Training

U.S. Air Force Airman William C. Manger graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

GLENDALE, WI — One of Glendale's own and a recent Nicolet High School graduate is taking the next step in his military training.

U.S. Air Force Airman William C. Manger graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Air Force officials are reporting that Manger completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Manger is the son of Eileen and Christopher Manger of Glendale, Wis. He is also the brother of Robert P. Svoboda and Katie J. Wood.

Manger is a 2016 graduate of Nicolet High School.
