Hazardous Weather Alert for SE Wisconsin Tonight

Rain is on its way, may be around for awhile.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY - The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Southeast Wisconsin among other regions in the state.

The threat for severe weather is low though according to the National Weather Service.

Thunderstorms are again in the forecast for Thursday afternoon and evening. The severe weather threat for those storms is also low.

Here is your 48-hour weather forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tonight:
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 am, then a chance of showers. Patchy fog after 9pm. Low around 46. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday:
A slight chance of showers between 4 pm and 5 pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5pm. Patchy fog before 8 am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Night :
A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Light and variable wind becoming north 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Friday:
Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 45. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
