Man Assaults Ex At Noodles And Company; Gets Arrested

FOX POINT, WI — A 24-year-old Fox Point man staged a brazen assault just after noon at Noodles And Company on a woman he used to live with.

On July 23, at just after 12 p.m., Fox Point police responded to Noodles and Company restaurant, in the Village of Fox Point on a report of an assault.

According to the criminal complaint, Hitmn Hason Broomfield came to Noodles and Company work and punched a woman in the head with a closed fist two or three times, hitting her on the
side and top of her head.

Police reported that the woman told police she went to the ground to avoid being hit, and Broomfield saw her iPhone on her desk and took it. She said he then left. She stated that, after she composed herself, she called her cell phone. She said Broomfield answered and said, “Now you want to talk to me.” He then told her to go look at her car. She stated that she went into the parking lot and saw that the side mirrors had been damaged, hanging off her vehicle, a 2014 Nissan Altima.

According to Broomfield's criminal complaint, police reported that the side mirrors were broken off and the passenger side door was dented.

The investigating officer's report includes a Domestic Violence Supplementary Incident report, filled out with input from from the victim. That report indicates that the defendant’s actions caused the woman pain, and that Broomfield and victim used to live together, the criminal complaint stated.

According to online court documents, Broomfield is out on a $500 signature bond.
