With the Powerball jackpot up to $425 million for Wednesday night's drawing, I had to stop by Bayside's Open Pantry and get a $2 chance.
But I'm restrained. The worker at the counter said the most one person had bought by 10 a.m. was $100, "but it's early." He expects it to pick up dramatically by 5 p.m.
The drawing is at 10 p.m. Though now that I have the winning ticket, you all are just playing for second place.
