No. 9 Wisconsin (2-0) vs. Georgia State (0-2) Football: Everything You Need To Know

Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

WISCONSIN -- The Wisconsin Badger football team improved to 2-0 after pummeling Akron 54-10 on Saturday. Quarterback Bart Houston led an efficient attack with a 15-of-22 performance for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. Corey Clement paced the Badgers on the ground with 21 carries for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns.

As impressive as Wisconsin has been this season, Georgia State has been equally uninspiring, having lost its two games by a combined score of 79-35. In the Panthers’ last game against Air Force, Georgia State gave up a mammoth 464 yards rushing, which is a harbinger of terrible things to come considering the Badgers’ ground game is their bread and butter.

With Wisconsin having home-field advantage and the clearly better side, this game is expected to be among the more lopsided of the week.

Parking

  • A parking map can be found at the Wisconsin football website.
  • Parking Overview: For visiting fans your best bet is off campus parking, across the street from Camp Randall Stadium. On campus parking, if available, is first come first serve but is farther from the action.
  • On Campus
  • General Public parking on Wisconsin’s campus for football games is hard to come by, especially if you want to be close to the action. Single game parking for football is available for purchase from lots with availability on a first come, first served basis on the day of the game only. Patrons wishing to purchase parking the day of the game will pay the lot attendant as they enter the lot. These lots will be determined once the season begins. For more information contact the UW Athletic Ticket Office at 608.262.1440.
  • Off Campus
  • If you are looking for parking and want to be in the thick of the action head to the student neighborhoods just across the street from the west side of Camp Randall, off of N Breese Terrace. Parking averages about $20/vehicle, and the student neighborhoods are the perfect place to tailgate. Head here early and you will have your pick of just about any spot.
  • Other options
  • Other options for our patrons with accessibility needs include the lot 60 shuttle. Parking in lot 60 will cost $5 per automobile and $6 per person to ride the shuttle roundtrip (subject to availability). The lot 60 shuttle will then drop patrons off at the corner of Breese Terrace and University Avenue where they can then board a golf cart operated by our Guest Services staff to the stadium entrance located closest to their seats.
  • There are also 3 drop-off points around Camp Randall Stadium for patrons to disembark from their own vehicles. These include: Monroe Street, outside of Gate 1 on the southeast corner of Camp Randall Stadium; the corner of Regent Street and Breese Terrace, near the obelisk sculpture; and at the corner of Breese Terrace and University Avenue, across from the First Congregational Church.
  • Wheelchair assistance is also available from the school’s Guest Services staff. Prior to game day call (608) 263-7894. On game day it would be (608) 265-8676.
