Stormonth's "Makerspace" Groundbreaking
Flexible learning space will offer students of all ages unique collaboration opportunities.
On June 17, Fox Point-Bayside School District leadership broke ground on the Stormonth "Makerspace", an innovative space that will encourage collaborative and creative thinking. Through a blend of digital and physical technologies to explore ideas, learn technical skills and create new products, the Makerspace’s environment will reflect 21st century learning, encouraging students to collaborate, think critically and creatively, and communicate in a variety of new, engaging ways.
The Makerspace is made possible by a $60,000 donation from Fox Point-Bayside Educational Foundation.
