Wallet Thief Steals from Apartment Neighbor, Police Find Wallet in Apartment he Shares With Grandmother

GLENDALE, WI — A Glendale man has been arrested after police caught him using a stolen credit card from a neighbor who lives in the same apartment complex.
On Wed., Feb. 8 on the 6500 block of N. Sidney Pl. in Glendale, a woman reported to police that her wallet, and its contents including her credit card, was missing from inside her apartment.
According to the criminal complaint, the woman told police stated she knows she had the wallet the night of Feb. 7, because she was paying bills. She went on to say that the only time her apartment is unlocked is when she takes her dog outside.

She told police that she contacted her bank, who notified her that her bank card had been used three times without her consent on the 8th, the complaint stated.
The complaint stated that those purchases included $20 to paypal, $168 to footlocker, $210 to Metro PCS. Glendale police got in touch with Footlocker and learned the purchase was made on February 8 at 8:07 am.

According to the complaint, the billing and shipping listed to: Cameron Williams, who reportedly lived one floor down in the apartment complex the woman lived in.
Police made contact with Williams, and while in custody, he admitted he did have the woman's credit card and made the above purchases, police reported.
According to the complaint, Williams denied going into the victim’s apartment to get the credit card. Further, it should be noted that the victim’s wallet was later recovered from Williams' apartment he shares with his grandmother.
