Green Bay's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
Green Bay's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
GREEN BAY, WI — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Green Bay's Fire Over the Fox Independence Day festival.
Although Green Bay’s fireworks, parade and 5K event have been canceled, there are other ways to celebrate Independence Day. Virtual get-together's, virtual races or competitions, picnics, sparklers, and televised fireworks can all make your Independence Day just as festive as it would have been without the coronavirus.
Due to the pandemic, counties or cities may adjust or cancel events at the last minute. Check your event before you go. Know of other events in the area? Post them on the Patch calendar or share details on our free Neighbor Post feature.
