The Nitschke Bridge To Close Temporarily On Oct. 9 For Annual Cleaning

The Green Bay Public Works Department is announcing the temporary half-day closure of the Nitschke Bridge for annual cleaning.

Traffic Impacts:

Starting Friday, October 9 at 3:30 AM, crews will close Dousman Street at North Broadway and will close Main Street at North Washington Street. The bridge is scheduled to re-open to traffic at 1 PM.

Detour:

Monroe Avenue, East Walnut Street, and Broadway.

All work operations and closures are weather dependent and subject to change. Motorists should anticipate backups and may want to use alternate routes. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained at all times.
