Andrea Voelker Appointed New Human Resources Director of Hudson School District

Voelker's salary will be $117,293 plus benefits. She will replace longtime school district employee Nancy Sweet, who is retiring at the end of June after 30 years of service.

The Hudson School Board of Education on March 12 approved the appointment of Andrea Voelker as the new Human Resources Director, effective July 1.

Voelker’s salary will be $117,293 plus benefits. She will replace longtime school district employee Nancy Sweet, who is retiring at the end of June after 30 years of service.

  • Voelker is an attorney and partner in Weld, Riley, Prenn, & Ricci, S.C. out of Eau Claire, where she specializes in school labor and employment law.
  • She has served as counsel for approximately 20 school districts.
  • She is the president-elect of the Wisconsin School Attorneys Association.
  • School district officials say her “knowledge and experience as a school law attorney will be an asset in her work as Hudson’s Human Resources Director.”
  • Voelker was chosen out of a field of 24 applicants.
