Area Gas Prices Soaring; Fill Up in Hudson for the Cheapest Fuel

Seeing your bill at the gas pump climb to $50, $60 or even $70?

The statewide average gas price in Minnesota is $4.27—the highest in the lower 48 states, according to a Monday report in the Pioneer Press. 

Wondering whether to fuel up before you head into Minnesota? According to gasbuddy.com, that wouldn't be advisable. Here in Hudson gas prices are quite cheaper than the Minnesota state average at about $4.20. Prices rise closer to the center of the Twin Cities.
