Attorneys Seeking Settlement in Willow River Parent Group Theft Case
Nichole R. Haugen is alleged to have stolen more than $35,000 while working as treasurer of the Willow River Parent Group.
A Hudson woman charged with four felony counts of theft from the Willow River Parent Group is likely going to settle out of court.
Attorneys representing Nichole R. Haugen, 29, and the State of Wisconsin said in open court on Tuesday morning that neither side is seeking a trial in a case in which Haugen is alleged to have stolen more than $35,000—on four separate occasions—from the group while working as its treasurer.
Haugen declined comment after leaving the courtroom.
