Former Dog Track Site Redevelopment Could Mean Offices, Retail, Baseball Team
The former St. Croix Meadows Dog Track site in Hudson could be home to retail, offices and a minor-league baseball team, developer says.
HUDSON -- The former St. Croix Meadows Dog Track site in Hudson could be home to retail, offices and a minor-league baseball team, according to a developer.
According to a report Tuesday by the Milwaukee Business Journal, a development group called KF Investments led by Klint Klaas expects to close on the sale of the property at the end of January, and will present his plans for a 131-acre mixed-use development and baseball stadium next week.
The proposed baseball park would initially seat 2,000 to 3,000 fans. The project would also include a mix of office buildings, apartments, high-end town homes and a small amount of retail, Klaas told the Business Journal.
