Letter to the Editor: Jay Kimble Will Make 'Superb' Chair for Town of St. Joseph
Washington County Commissioner Gary Kriesel endorses Jay Kimble for Board Chair in the Town of St. Joseph.

To the Editor,
I am writing this letter in support of the candidacy of Jay Kimble for Board Chair in the Town of St. Joseph.
I served as a councilmember on the Stillwater City Council when Jay was the mayor there. His leadership made my job easy and fun. Jay ran a very efficient meeting, yet always allowed citizens to speak and listened to what their issues were. Jay is a very respectful leader, helping others to deal with complex issues and promoting compromise.

Jay worked to get us a new St. Croix River Crossing for many years. He kept the bridge project on life support for years, so that it could finally come to fruition. Without Jay, I am convinced we wouldn’t be getting a new bridge.
Stillwater was sad to see Jay move to Wisconsin. The residents of St. Joseph are very lucky to have Jay in their town. He will make a superb Chair for his new town. I would encourage you to vote for Jay.Â
