Man Found Dead At Camp Site, Investigation Underway
Police say they don't have a cause of death yet for the 40-year-old man found dead Tuesday.
HUDSON, WI — Police found a man dead in Willow River State Park Tuesday, according to a release from the St. Croix County sheriff.
The release says on Tuesday, around 3:50 p.m., police from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office were sent to the park on a report of a dead person at a camp site.
Police arrived to find a 40-year-old man dead outside a camper.

The man's cause of death is unknown.
Police believe the man's death was an isolated incident and that there's no risk to public safety.
