Motorcycle Rider Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Crash With Cushing Teen
A 46-year-old man from Barron suffered life-threatening injuries after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a vehicle Thursday.

BARRON COUNTY, WI — A 46-year-old man from Barron suffered life-threatening injuries after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a a vehicle driven by 18-year-old woman from Cushing.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, at approximately 4:19 p.m. on May 4, the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 8 at the Highway W intersection east of the City of Barron. The crash involved an automobile and a motorcycle.
The initial investigation indicates an eastbound automobile was stopped on Hwy 8 attempting to make a left-hand turn onto County Highway W when it turned into the path of a westbound motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was flown from the scene by Life Link to Mayo in Eau Claire. The driver of the automobile was transported by ambulance to Barron Memorial Hospital.
The Crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
