A spokesperson for Xcel Energy says power has been restored in Hudson as of 9:33 a.m.
About 6,300 Xcel Energy customers in the Hudson area were without power this morning, Brian Elwood said. The outage began at about 8:57 a.m.
The cause of the outage was a squirrel that came into contact with an energized line, Elwood said.
