Raiders Lacrosse Team Pounds Sibley 17-1; Improve to 3-0 on the Season

Taren Motte scored Hudson’s first six goals, plus two more, in the Raiders’ 17-1 win over Henry Sibley at River Crest in Hudson on Wednesday, May 8.     

Sibley’s only goal came when they were a man up during a Hudson penalty at the end of the first quarter to make the score 3-1, Hudson.

Sibley had nine more shots on goal, all blocked by Hudson goaltender Jordan Madden for a 90 percent save percentage.

Hudson’s Brandon Schwartz scored at the end of the second quarter adding to Motte’s six goals for a score of 7-1.

Joey Hernandez and CJ Howard each scored one goal, Will Reece scored two, Schwartz scored three more, and Motte added two for a final score of 17-1.

The Raiders are 3-0 so far this season.
