Today is the last day to drop donations off for the Lucas family at North Hudson Elementary School.
From the North Hudson Elementary PTO:
“Our hearts & thoughts go out to the Lucas family who lost their home to the house fire last week.
For those of you that aren't aware:
Erica is going to be a 5th grader at NHE this fall. Their house is most likely a total loss. Immediate needs include cash donations, gift cards to grocery stores and/ or WalMart and Target, Kohls, JC Penny's, etc.
Mr. Schmidt will be collecting donations at school from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Thursday, July 25. After that, donations can be dropped off at Fairfield Inn under the Lucas name.
Understandably, many of you may not be in a position to make a donation today. But if you are able, the needs are great and all help is appreciated.”
